ACADEMIC REPORT

OUR MOST CURRENT
GRADE REPORT IS:

Fall 2006
Chapter GPA: 3.25
Rank: First

In the spirit of the Men of Principle initiative, we dedicate ourselves to the cultivation of the intellect. Each brother strives not only to excel in the classroom, but to also gain a wisdom that will aid in all of life's endeavors.

We take numerous actions each semester to promote the improvement of our scholarship. First, no man may pledge unless he has a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. During our pledge program, studying is always promoted as pledges study tables are made available and every effort is made to insure continued academic excellence.

An active brother must maintain a 2.6 cumulative GPA in order to remain in good standing with the chapter. If his GPA drops below a 2.5, he will be enrolled in our academic assistance plan. Executed by our Scholarship Chairman, this plan aids brothers by providing study tables, tutoring, and good study tips. The plan usually succeeds in helping brothers return to good standing within one semester.

Our chapter has had the highest grades amongst Miami fraternities thirteen of the last sixteen semesters since our re-colonization. We finished in second place overall for the 2002, 2005, and 2006 spring semesters.

"The beauty, elegance and permanency of all civil society depend wholly upon the integrity of its social union and mental cultivation. Here then we assume for the basis of our own secret association the vital principle upon which hangs the progress and intellectual greatness of the human race, the mutual fidelity of hearts, the mutual assistance of mind."
         - Charles Henry Hardin, Of Ever Honored Memory
