As brothers of the Alpha chapter, each member strives to be an active member of the brotherhood, and gives his time to make our chapter the best it can be. As students of Miami University and community members of Oxford, each brother also gives time to be active leaders and members of these communities. Our personal relationships with Miami faculty, student organizations, and clubs help contribute to our chapter's great relationships at Miami.

Part of being a Beta is a commitment to leadership. Our brothers hold leading positions in campus organizations such as Campus Crusade for Christ, the Interfraternity Council, the Miami University Student Foundation, Campus Activities Council, Miami Intramurals, the Residence Hall Association, and the Miami Student newspaper.

Our brothers participate in all facets of university life. Brothers hold membership in groups like the Miami University Men's Glee Club, intramurals teams, the Miami Economics Club, the Miami Finance Association, the Business Student Advisory Council, Phi Alpha Delta, Beta Alpha Psi, Pi Sigma Epsilon, Alpha Kappa Psi, the Miami Student Credit Union, and Campus Crusade for Christ.

Each brother and pledge is encouraged to join and actively participate in another student organization. These experiences contribute to one being a well-rounded, principled leader. In turn, brothers bring their external experiences and knowledge to our chapter, helping us all to be the best we can be.
